Lacey’s classes are fun and challenging with an emphasis on posture and core strength. Lacey is a certified Barre instructor and she completed her first 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2014 with Amy Ippoliti in Boulder, CO. After dealing with serious low back and neck pain for years, Lacey completed a second 200 hr YTT with physical therapist and yoga teacher, Lara Heimann in 2018. Lara’s perspective taught Lacey to use functional movement and anatomy as inspiration for her classes. Her experience with chronic pain has taught her so much about the practice of yoga. She ensures all her students have proper alignment and offers modifications too!
Lacey taught barre for several years and she loves combining yoga and barre in the Yogilates Barre class. Fun music plus a challenging workout make for a perfect class on the deck of Water Dog’s Studio!
Lacey is currently enrolled in an online Experiential Anatomy course to further her knowledge about the human body. She grew up in Corpus Christi, TX and luckily has a yogi mother who took her to her first class on her 13th birthday. She loves her two dogs Weasely and Peggy plus any animal she sees.
