February 2021 Schedule:

In February our paddleboards are indoors. Land yoga classe will mostly be at Mesquite Street studio in the Richline IT building downtown at 114 N Mesquite St. unless the weather is favorable. Beach Barre classes at at North Padle Island Sea Wall. Check back as we may have some schedule updates.

Water Dog Offerings: Descriptions, Locations & TImes

Beach Barre is a full-body barre fitness & standing Pilates workout with a focus on sculpting, burning and lifting along with proper posture & cardio. Class includes mat work + arm strenth along with stretching.
Where: On the beach at the Sea Wall on North Padre Island near MM215.
When: Fridays sunrise 7am, Sundays 10am and some Saturdays 10am

Yogilates combines elements of both Yoga and Mat Pilates, focusing on the core while including arm & leg strength. A strong core will help you hold poses longer, achieve proper posture, prevent injuries & improve your balance.
Where: Outdoor deck in the marina (weather-permitting) or indoors at Mesquite Street
When: Currently Mondays 5:45pm

Ashtanga-based Yoga combines flowing, athletic movements and breathe work. The particular set of poses are based on the Ashtanga Primary Series.  This is a Vinyasa & Power Yoga class, but modifications are given for all levels.
Where: Outdoor deck in the marina (weather-permitting) or indoors at Mesquite Street
When: Wednesdays sunrise 6:30am and Saturdays 8:30am (in the winter)

Yin Yoga is a slower, more meditative approach to yoga that makes it beginner friendly. Poses are held longer (3-5mins) getting into the deeper connective tissue, increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Great for injury prevention & recovery.
Where: Outdoor deck in the marina (weather-permitting) or indoors at Mesquite Street
When: Currently Mondays 7pm (an additional class may be added soon)

Vin Yin Yoga is a balanced Yin & Yang practice where the first part of class is Vinyasa style, incorporating movement and flows, while the second part of class is Yin Yoga where we slow down and hold the poses longer, getter a deep stretch.
Where: Outdoor deck in the marina (weather-permitting) or indoors at Mesquite Street
When: Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings starting in spring

Pool SUP Fit is a full-body workout on floating fitness mats that combine elements yoga, Pilates, fitness & fun using resistance bands & balls!
Where: Corpus Christi Athletic Club in winter. Outside at Sante Fe Pool in Spring/Summer
When: Currently Saturdays & Sundays 2pm. In spring -Wednesday evenings & Saturday mornings.

Spring/Summer/Fall:
SUP Yoga & Fitness combine Yoga & Fitness on a Stand-up Paddleboard (SUP) on the water. Guided instruction and variations for all levels are given. Class includes on-deck instructions and all equipment.
Where: Downtown in the Corpus Christi Marina at our houseboat studio
When: Saturday mornings in season

Paddle Conditioning/Paddle Clinics are group paddle workouts where tips and advice are given to help you get the most out of your paddle. Clinics offer detailed guidance for intermediate paddlers. All equipment is included or BYOB free.
Where: Downtown in the Corpus Christi Marina at our houseboat studio
When: Sunday mornings in season

Special Event: Indoor SUP Yoga Beginners Series

Indoor SUP Yoga at Water Dog

Have you been anxious to try SUP Yoga and fitness, but afraid to fall in the water? Our SUP boards are indoors at Mesquite Street studio this winter. Balance/stability cushions are placed under the boards to simulate being on the water without the fear of falling in!

Our Land Beginners SUP Series includes 3 classes focusing on the most important aspects of Yoga & Fitness on SUPs: 1.Transitions, 2.Balance & 3. Core. Come to one or take all three!
*We will be spacing 6 feet apart and there will only be 6 spots/boards per class.

Where: Mesquite Street Studio inside Richline Technical at 114 N Mesquite Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78401
Cost: $20 for one class or buy a package for all three for $50. To purchase a package, go to the ‘Customer Area’ at the bottom of our website.

Series 2 – 6:45pm-8pm:
Thursday February 11, Foucs – Transitions
Thursday February 18, Focus – Balance
Thursday February 25, Focus – Core 

Special Event: Beer Yoga *Wedneday* February 24th

We have a new day of the week for Beer Yoga in February! Join us at Nueces Brewing Co. Wednesday Febrary 24th at 6:30pm!  We will aim to have the classes outdoors on the deck under the lights. However, if its too cold or rainy, we have the option to be inside the brew house which is a HUGE space that we can be sure to keep at least 6 feet between each mat. The cost of the class includes your first beer (or beverage of choice) and your beer will be mindfully incorporated into the class.
